THE PORT OF TORREVIEJA WILL BE THE SCENE OF THE GOAL OF THE TEAM TIME TRIAL THAT WILL START THE TOUR CYCLIST TO SPAIN

The Vuelta will be seen in 189 countries, with more than 400 million potential spectators, and from the beginning of the stage at 18:52 hours and until the planned end of it, 20:30 hours, will have as its main stage the city of Torrevieja, its salt flats and its promenades and beaches.

Torrevieja will be the protagonist in the first stage of the next Tour of Spain, as the start will be made from the spectacular scenery of the salt flats, and the Levante Dam will be the place where they finish the 12 kilometers of the time trial by teams, after the multicolored snake has crossed the entire urban center of the city, on Saturday 24 August. It will be the first time in the history of the Vuelta that this leaves from Torrevieja.

From Monday 19 to Friday 23 August, will be installed an inflatable tent 4×4 and an information desk that will serve as a traveling space for dissemination of information and citizen of the various aspects that encompass the Official Start of the Vuelta 2019. The dates, locations and timetables are as follows:

Saturday, August 24: Stage 1 Salinas de Torrevieja-Torrevieja (Team Time Trial, 18 kilometers)

Sunday, 25 August: Stage 2 Benidorm-Calpe (Bumpy stage, 193 kilometres)

Monday, August 26th: Stage 3 Ibi. Ciudad del Juguete-Alicante (Flat Stage, 186 kilometers)

Tuesday, 27 August: Stage 4 Cullera-El Puig (Flat stage, 177 kilometres)

Wednesday, 28 August: Stage 5 L' Eliana-Observatorio Astrofísico de Javalambre (Rough stage, 165.6 kilometres)

Thursday, 29 August: Stage 6 Mora de Rubielos-Ares del Maestrat (Uneven stage, 196.6 kilometres)

Friday, 30 August: Stage 7 Onda-Mas de la Costa (Mountain stage, 182.4 kilometres)

Saturday, 31 August: Stage 8 Valls-Igualada (Damaged stage, 168 kilometres)

Sunday, 1 September 2019: Stage 9 Andorra la Vella-Cortals d'Encamp (Mountain stage, 96.6 kilometres)

Monday 3 September: Rest day

Tuesday, September 3: Stage 10 Jurançon-Pau (Individual time trial, 36.1 km)

Wednesday, 4 September: Stage 11 Saint Palais Urdax-Dantxarinea (Mountain stage, 169 kilometres)

Thursday, 5 September: Stage 12 Circuit Navarra-Bilbao (Mountain stage, 175 kilometres)

Friday, 6 September: Stage 13 Bilbao-Los Machucos (Mountain stage, 167.3 kilometres)

Saturday, 7 September 2019: Stage 14 San Vicente de la Barquera-Oviedo (Flat stage, 189 kilometres)

Sunday, 8 September 2019: Stage 15 Tineo-Santuario del Acebo (Mountain Stage, 159 kilometres)

Monday, September 9: Stage 16 Pravia - Alto de La Cubilla (Mountain stage, 155 km)
