The Government will grant residence permits in Spain to foreigners who acquire a home whose price is higher than 160,000 euros, according to the Secretary of State for Commerce, Jaime García-Legaz. "In a few weeks the reform of the Foreigners' Decree will be implemented to grant residence permits to foreigners who acquire a home in Spain from 160,000 euros" indicated the Secretary of State for Trade in his speech in "The Agora" of "The economist".

The secretary considers that Spain is an attractive market because there has been a considerable drop in prices.

The Secretary of State for Trade also said that on Tuesday the working group created in this regard will be reunited to advance in this measure.
