THE PORT OF TORREVIEJA WILL BE THE SCENE OF THE GOAL OF THE TEAM TIME TRIAL THAT WILL START THE TOUR CYCLIST TO SPAIN
The Vuelta will be seen in 189 countries, with more than 400 million potential spectators, and from the beginning of the stage at 18:52 hours and until the planned end of it, 20:30 hours, will have as its main stage the city of Torrevieja, its salt flats and its promenades and beaches.
Torrevieja will be the protagonist in the first stage of the next Tour of Spain, as the start will be made from the spectacular scenery of the salt flats, and the Levante Dam will be the place where they finish the 12 kilometers of the time trial by teams, after the multicolored snake has crossed the entire urban center of the city, on Saturday 24 August. It will be the first time in the history of the Vuelta that this leaves from Torrevieja.
From Monday 19 to Friday 23 August, will be installed an inflatable tent 4×4 and an information desk that will serve as a traveling space for dissemination of information and citizen of the various aspects that encompass the Official Start of the Vuelta 2019.
